Tigers commit and target tracker

Another week of the 2021 football season is in the books and once again several Auburn commits and targets shined.

Here’s a look back at their performances ...

-S/ATH Ja'Kobi Albert, Fairfield (Ala.): Lost to Cullman (Ala.) Fairview 30-28 in the first round of the playoffs. Albert had eight catches for 83 yards, including two touchdown grabs in the final quarter. He finished the season with 35 catches for 603 yards and 13 touchdowns -- and four interceptions on defense.

-RB Damari Alston, College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy: Beat Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside 21-14. Alston rushed for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. One of his scores covered 81 yards. He now has 1,450 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns on 167 attempts this season to go along with 17 receptions for 185 yards. Woodward Academy is 10-.

-OL Drew Bobo, Auburn (Ala.): Beat Mobile (Ala.) Baker 39-3 in the first round of the playoffs. Bobo started at left tackle. 

-WR Jay Fair, Rockwall-Heath (Texas): Rockwall-Heath defeated Dallas (Texas) Skyline 56-13. Fair had one reception for 53 yards and it went for six. He now has 36 catches for 761 yards and 11 touchdowns.

-LB Powell Gordon, Auburn (Ala.): Beat Mobile (Ala.) Baker 39-3 in the first round of the playoffs. Gordon had 5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 4 quarterback hurries. He now has 47 tackles and 9 sacks in seven games played.

-OL Eston Harris Jr.., Auburn (Ala.): Beat Mobile (Ala.) Baker 39-3 in the first round of the playoffs.. Harris started at right tackle.

-WR Omari Kelly, Hewitt-Trussville (Ala.): Beat Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones 42-20 in a first-round playoff game. Kelly had two touchdown receptions in the game and finished with 128 receiving yards. Kelly has 70-plus catches for 1,235 yards and 12 touchdowns this season. Hewitt-Trussville is 9-2.

-PK Alex McPherson, Fort Payne (Ala.): Lost to Birmingham (Ala.) Briarwood Christian 35-12 in the first round of the playoffs. McPherson connected on field goals from 59 and 28 yards out.

-TE Micah Riley-Ducker, Bellevue (Neb.) West: Beat Grand Island (Neb.) 52-20.. Riley-Ducker had three catches for 64 yards. After 11 games, he has 32 receptions for 552 yards and five scores. Bellevue West is 10-1.

-DE Caden Story, Lanett (Ala.): Beat Geneva County (Ala.) 18-0 in the first round of the playoffs. As Lanett held Alabama running back commit Emmanuel Henderson in check, Story recorded five tackles. He has 70 tackles and 17 sacks this season. Lanett is 9-2.

-S Caleb Wooden, Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer: Beat Norcross (Ga.) 9-0. Wooden had an interception and a pass breakup. He now has 41 tackles and four interceptions (with a pick-six) on the season.

-S Tre Donaldson, Tallahassee (Fla.) FSU School: Beat Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee 35-6. Donaldson was 32-of-41 passing for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns and had 202 rushing yards in his two games played entering this contest.

***OFF WEEK***

-QB Holden Geriner, Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine: Geriner is 161 of 244 for 2,186 yards with 21 touchdowns and two interceptions through 10 games.

***NOTABLE TARGETS***

-RB Andrew Paul, Dallas (Texas) Parish Episcopal: Beat Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints 66-28: Paul ran for 110 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries. He now has 189 for 1,511 yards and 25 touchdowns.  

-WR Darrius Clemons, Portland (Ore.) Westview: In a 57-34 rout of Barlow (Ore.), Clemons had four catches for 80 yards and one touchdown. All told, Clemons now has 37 catches for 780 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2021. 

-WR Antonio Williams, Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork: Dutch Fork beat Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Socastee 56-0. Williams had five catches for 131 yards and a touchdown, one rush for a 39-yard score and a 62-yard punt return for six. He has 53 receptions for 1,124 yards and nine touchdowns on the season.

-WR Camden Brown, Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas: Off week. Brown has recorded 23 catches for a team-high 433 yards and seven touchdowns.

-S Juwon Gaston, Hutchinson Community College (Kan.): Beat Highland Community College (Kan.) 77-0. Gaston did not record any stats in the game. He has 24 tackles and an interception in eight games.

-S Marquise Gilbert, Hutchinson Community College (Kan.): Beat Highland Community College (Kan.) 77-0. Gilbert had one tackle. He has 20 tackles for the season.

-CB Keionte Scott, Snow College (Utah): Beat Lackawanna Community College (Pa.) 51-28. Scott had 12 total tackles and five pass break-ups for the season entering the game.

-LB Robert Woodyard, Mobile (Ala.) Williamson: The 4-star Auburn target, who is committed to Alabama, has a torn meniscus and had surgery three weeks ago. He is out the remainder of the season.
