McMaster: Afghanistan War "Ended In Self-Defeat

During an interview on NBC's "Meet The Press," former National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster described the end of the war in Afghanistan as "self-defeat" for the United States.

 

"And of course, what's sad about it is this war ended in self-defeat, Chuck. I mean we had a sustainable effort in place several years ago, that if we had sustained it, we could have prevented what's happening now," he said. "Instead, what we did is actually we surrendered to a jihadist organization and assumed that there would be no consequences for that. And we're seeing the consequences today."

Look Dumbass, you send you kids to die there and spend your money to waste there. We accomplished nothing but making the MIC rich as hell. We should have left by 2004 and never looked back. Sustainable for what? Making the MIC even wealthier and more profitable?
