I guess pigs in blanket…fry’em like bacon, is ok as long as it’s at a protest.   Some on here act like the f word is completely off limits.   In today’s vocabulary, the f word is used by today’s young adults with regularity.

Free speech is a powerful right of our citizens. But it loses it's power when not used with good judgment and/or intentions. In my opinion the power of free speech is best displayed when supported by "real" facts and reasoning. A bunch of students using their right of free speech by yelling something like this at a football game of all places makes them look foolish.

Looking foolish is a right of every human since the dawn of creation.  When you say something offensive and are called out for it, will the offender take the criticism to heart or will it emboldened them?  Aubaseball brings up an example of the latter.

Sitting on the fence is no way to go through life.  Conservatives have been doing this for years and the left have, little by little, shaped out culture.  What we are witnessing now is a full on assault by the Biden Administration to change our fundamental beliefs and systems of governing.  He has a deadline of the midterm elections until he, hopefully, will get resistance from Congress.

Joe Biden - nobody can question that he is a man of faith.  Compare that to a president that has never asked for forgiveness because he has never done anything that needed forgiving.  I believe it was Lindsey Graham who said "If you can't admire Joe Biden as a person... u got a problem... cause what's not to like"....  I understand that this does not fit with the narrative pushed by the talking heads at Fox of OAN, but ask yourself who is most likely telling the truth about a man's character?

I'll leave then entire thing here to make it easy to understand.

Claiming to be a man of faith while openly disregarding that faith’s directives on divorce, and openly defying that faith’s very specific position on abortion makes you disturbingly rebellious against your Pope and God. So.. NOT a man of faith, regardless of what you tell everybody.

Have mercy.... You really jumped that shark ........   So the fact that he married a divorced woman (oh the horror) and does not believe that women should be jailed for having an abortion means that he cannot be a man of faith?

I would argue that your conclusion is preposterous.

I would argue the man is Catholic in name only. As a Catholic, he stands for   NOTHING we Catholics  believe in. I would respect him a little  if he renounced his Catholic faith and really stood on what he really believes. Otherwise, may God have mercy on him for his beliefs

It’s just his disregard some very important tenets of his Catholic faith.  He said he is a devout Catholic yet disregards his church’s teachings. Your disdain for me is misplaced.

Feel free to tell us all what he "really believes".......After all, what we actually know is that he has been a practicing Catholic his entire life. The United States is not a country of laws written to please Clerics.  Nonetheless, many want to blend government and religion when it suits them and rail against the practice when it does not.  Being a cafeteria Catholic applies to most people around the globe.  You get offended by things you choose to be offended by and you ignore the inconvenient things that conflict with your personal choices.

As an example, being that you are such a "good Catholic", I am assuming that you are concerned about the conditions that migrants are experiencing on the Southern border.  After all, Pope Frances has reminded all Christians of their duty to provide for their well being.  The Pope has gone even farther by proclaiming that “builders of walls, be they made of razor wire or bricks, will end up becoming prisoners of the walls they build."  Does that mean that the Pope should also renounce his faith?

There must really be very few elected office holders that you actually respect, considering the total lack of any sort of moral compass the previous President exhibited.  I could be wrong.  Perhaps you respect the Obamas.  After all, they have been married for decades and have 2 beautiful daughters.  They raised their children in the Christian church and have never been accused of infidelity.  A better guess would be that none of that actually matters to you more than the letter next to their name.

The church's teachings do change over time.  That cannot be denied.

Maybe so. Has the church’s teaching on abortion and divorce changed?

The point is... has Biden himself had an abortion?  No.  Not prosecuting others for making a choice that impacts their own body does not make Biden himself guilty of aborting babies.  Furthermore, the Catholic church has allowed divorced people to have communion for years.  They sometimes charge a fee for forgiveness, but that is another topic altogether.

I know a guy on his 4th marriage that attends mass every week.

Look, the point is that we are all adults.  As such, we should be able to agree that someone's political policies do not dictate an individual's spiritual relationship with their faith.  A basic tenet of this country is that the government does not endorse a particular religious faith.  That doesn't mean that their moral compass isn't influenced by their faith.

What he really believes is whatever will get/ keep him elected. He’s shown that for the nearly 50 YEARS he’s been in public office. His stances on issues change whenever he needs a vote. Even Obama said “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f…k things up. I’ll guarantee you he didn’t grow up as a Catholic thinking abortion was morally right. But he changed his mind when he realized he couldn’t get/ stay elected as a Democrat without the female vote. As for the migrants on the border, I have no issue with immigrants coming to the U.S. But even you as a Democrat must agree that there has to be a method and not just say,” Come on in,everybody “. Besides, the problem right now at the border sits squarely on Joe Biden.

I assume you have a house with walls. I’m pretty sure those walls aren’t there to keep you in the house. They’re there to keep others out. You are right about one thing. There are few politicians that I respect. Most will just say whatever to get elected. Don’t care for Trump personally but the man did have America’s interests first. And isn’t that what the President is supposed to do.( Can’t wait for the “thumbs down” from the resident socialist #homersapien)

Biden is a known liar.   What’s to admire about someone that constantly lies.   He got ran out of two previous attempts at running for president because he is a liar.  “   But he got 80 million votes this time”.

So Lindsey Graham and McCain and all these other people are just saying nice things about that "known liar" right? I know..... he has to be evil because he wasn't wearing your team colors.

Why do you think he believes that abortion is "morally right?"  Being what someone considers morally right or wrong does not govern what that person believes another's rights are to make that determination for themselves.  The courts decided long ago that what a woman does with her own body in the first trimester of pregnancy is part of a person's right to privacy as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.  I am not sure why that concept is so difficult for so many to grasp.

Similarly, someone may believe that the death penalty is morally wrong, yet they acknowledge the state's right to impose that penalty as a result of certain criminal acts.
