The offenses today are much more dynamic. Roof's defense would get broken on nearly every drive by some of these offenses. But that's just my opinion. A lot of people love the big, explosive scoring play and those are great, but to have consistent offensive scoring a team has to be able to convert 3rd downs and sustain drives.
