The diplomatic boycott reeks of weakness.  If you’re not willing to sacrifice something when you are sending a message, your message is weak.  If a Republican did the same thing it would also be weak.  Any Republican that goes along with this would also be weak.

China, Russia and the Taliban know Biden is weak and that is why they all are taking an aggressive stand in their part of the world.

That's pretty damn funny considering Trump

1) remains in Putin's pocket

2) conceded to the Taliban everything they wanted and,

3) envies China's - and pretty much every other -  authoritarian government.

Don’t you ever have anything else to say besides your made up fantasy lies about Trump?

Tucker Carlson is defending Putin and saying he has a right to amass troops on Ukraine boarder and defend Russia, and that Biden actually wants a war with Russia to improve his poll numbers.

Carlson would be a great hire for Russian State TV if he ever is forced to leave Fox.

1) Let’s see, Brandon gave Putin the Nord Stream 2 so Russia will soon be delivering natural gas to Europe and

2) Brandon abandoned Afghanistan in an humiliating fashion allowing the Taliban to dictate when the US will fully get out of Afghanistan leaving hundreds of American citizens and green card holders behind.  Leaving billions of weaponry and assets behind while emboldening our enemies as we see with Russia right now and will see with China in the near future and

3) Your are projecting for Brandon on this one.

1) Nord Stream 2 was not Biden's to "give away".:-\  (But he is marshalling the political support to use it as leverage on Putin's threat to Ukraine.)

2)  Unlikely Trump would have done any better considering how he dealt with the Taliban.

3) Nothing but the facts. You won't get that from MAGA sources. (Perhaps that's why you never cite sources supporting your assertions.)

Opinion pieces are not sources.  While selling gas is important to Russia, somebody needs to re-evaluate their position regarding flowing natural gas.  Germany and Europe just might be freezing their hairy rear ends off. Sounds like Biden's negotiating skills on display.

This is not an opinion piece:

You're right, it's not an opinion article, but it is Ted Cruz blowing hot air out of his arse like he tends to do on a near daily basis.

Ted Cruz rightly destroys Homer’s claim that Biden is going to use Nord Stream 2 as leverage against Putin.  Putin totally disrespects Biden as shown by his disregard of the sanctions already in place when Biden took office (4 days later).  How is Biden going to apply leverage when he did not show resistance to Putin when he initially disregarded the sanctions?  A little late don’t you think?

Maybe international politics are complicated?

Maybe the Nord Stream pipeline include multiple stakeholders including Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and the EU at large?

Maybe what the US president does or doesn't do isn't the be all end all decision influencer for world powers?

Maybe Putin does think Biden is weak and that he can walk all over him? I don't know, but I don't believe that restarting the pipeline is evidence to that fact like Cruz is suggesting. It's just political blustering by Cruz.

Ted Cruz says A LOT of things every day. Many of them are untrue and entirely partisan. Many of them make no sense whatsoever.

If you want to think that a 1 min soundbite from Cruz is evidence that Biden is a puppet to Putin then that's fine, but don't act like this anything more than a personal, partisan opinion.

Brandon, the great unifier, is at it again.

At the end when the press is trying to ask questions, ole Brandon has the deer in the headlights look.

Now compare what candidate Brandon said during a debate last year:

Brandon was preaching the winter of death even back then.  He is a fear monger.  He has no clue what to do.  And pay attention to what Trump said about the N1H1 swine flu.  It is very telling, and we are suppose to listen to this idiot?

DKW: They both suck at international dealings. DJT and the dickless way he dealt with the Kurds. FJB and the CS way he dealt with the Taliban.

As an aside, is there really that much difference between Fox news and RT?

Hey, that's what passes a reasoned debate in today's America.

From Politico:

Indeed, if Biden were now to hold himself to the standards and metrics he set out during the campaign, he would stand exposed as a cold-blooded monster who has presided over what should be a presidency-destroying public-health debacle. As it happens, after all the scorn he heaped on Trump for his sunny scenarios, Biden, likewise, has been too rosy, only to see extensive spread and a high level of deaths on his watch.

Biden laid into Trump in his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in August 2020: “Our current president has failed in his most basic duty to the nation. He’s failed to protect us. He’s failed to protect America. And my fellow Americans, that is unforgivable.” But now that he’s had nearly a year to “protect us,” it is basically impossible to discern any Biden effect on the most basic Covid data. On Jan. 20, 2021, the day he was inaugurated, there had been roughly 25 million cumulative Covid cases in the United States; now there have been 50 million cases. On Jan. 20, 2021, roughly 415,000 American had died; now, more than 800,000 have.

“Just judge this president on the facts,” Biden urged in his convention speech. “Five million Americans infected by Covid-19. More than 170,000 Americans have died. The tragedy of where we are today is it didn’t have to be this bad. Just look around. It’s not this bad in Canada or Europe or Japan, or almost anywhere else in the world.” Yet, during 2021, too, the U.S. has outstripped Europe, Canada and Japan in per capita cases and deaths almost all year long. Sure, Covid had already spread everywhere by the time Biden took office and had become a fiercely partisan issue in the United States, but it’s not as though he was making careful allowances for difficult circumstances when he was lodging his charges at Trump.

It’s true that Biden has taken a different tone on Covid than Trump did, paid more lip service to the science and demonstrated different masking practices. And there are big policy differences between the two parties on Covid, especially around masks, mandates and lockdowns. But, as it turned out, none of these held the magic key to crushing the pandemic. In fact, the idea that we shouldn’t be locking down or shutting schools, positions that once were characterized as part of a Republican “death cult,” are now widely accepted, even at a time when cases are surging again.

The man has yet to be right on any policy.  Let’s Go Brandon.

They don’t like it when somebody says FJB. Too raunchy and vulgar even though F*** is literally Biden’s favorite word. LGB just fell into place nicely. Who knew Biden would have his name associated with NASCAR.  Definitely more civil than ANY discourse screamed at Trump for his entire presidency.  So if you are looking for somebody to blame for poor discourse, look no further than the democrat party and mainstream media.
