High gas prices is what he wants to promote his GND agenda.  He will not produce American oil to appease his radical base while countries like Germany (a country that has bought into the GND) is opening coal plants in anticipation of winter needs that solar and wind will not supply enough energy.  He is hoping the inflation he helped to create and the upcoming recession will break before the economy completely collapses.

The world is not ready to rely solely on carbon neutral energy, but he can’t see it.

To do what you say you want Biden to do, America would have to do a takeover of our oil companies and turn them into government controlled entities. Is that what you're suggesting? Right now high gas prices are very good for our oil companies profits and they have little incentive to massively increase production quickly or help bring the price down. 

 

Also, as has been pointed our ad nauseum, every developed country in the world is having oil shortages and high gas prices. This isn't an American/Biden problem. This is a world problem right now.

Oil and gas prices for every modern nation are high right now. The drastic increase in prices occurred right when Russia invaded Ukraine and a significant portion of its oil and gas supply was cut from the world market and other OPEC countries like Saudi Arabia refuses to increase production. 

 

It's very...very presumptuous to say that any EO by Biden related to green energy had an impact on what our gas prices are currently. I know it's what the Right wing are parroting and what you believe, but there's no evidence that points to this being correct. Currently the United States is increasing oil refining and we are close to what we were producing as a nation in 2019. It still wont be enough as the worldwide shortage is so bad right now. 

In another thread on this topic you even admitted that our private gas companies are pulling in record profits and could be doing more themselves to increase production, but you still say all that is Biden's fault because the oil companies are threatened by him or something. 

 

I agree these prices suck and people need relief, but the reality is that if Russia didn't do warmongering then we wouldn't be having these gas price issues.
