Auburn finished 2nd in the group behind Kentucky.  197.50 to 197.750. That's going to be a tough final of Kentucky is stepping up to near 198.

Missouri and Iowa advanced over LSU. I believe LSU had a lot of injuries, but they struggled mightily on the road this season outside of the PMAC.

As the top two finishers in the day session, Mizzou and Iowa advance to face No. 3 Michigan and No. 14 UCLA the top two finishers in the evening session, in the regional final at 4 p.m. CT on Saturday. The top two teams from the regional final will advance to the national championships.

Suni banged up?

"This is going to sound weird, but I was hoping to finish second in this rotation because we get to finish on floor and vault in the Sweet 16, the regional final. If we do that I more apt to let (Suni Lee) go full speed than if we started on floor and vault than if we started on vault. If we started on vault and she makes a mistake like that we might lose her for the meet. It is an unintended by product of being pretty weak in the first couple of events." Lee tweaked her ankle on a landing and is sore, but she also finished up with outstanding performances on Thursday on bars (9.95) and beam (9.975).”

Auburn was in 4th after the first rotation. Suni and Sophia both with low scores on bars. Sophia overrated on the stand and Suni hit her heels on the bar. Trinity from Florida with another 10 on the floor.

After beam, Auburn is in 2nd. Suni got a 10, Sophia got a 9.95, Cassie and Gabby had 9.9s. Trinity and another gymnast from Florida had 10s on the vault.

Sophia with a 9.9, Suni with a 9.95, and Derrian with a 9.975 on floor. Extended the gap between 3rd place. But Florida scored all 9.9s or above. Crazy how good they are.

Lets close this out with a good vault and move on!

This Florida team is probably the most talented SEC team in many years... stacked with Olympians and World champions.

Drew Watson with a 9.975, Stevens with a 9.9, Suni with a 9.875, and Derrian with a 9.85.

Final score for Auburn is 197.775, just a waiting game but Kentucky did have a fall on the floor.

Florida has had 3 straight 9.95 on beam.

Kentucky after the fall have had had 2 9.9s on floor.

Make it 4 straight 9.95 for Florida. And a 9.95 on floor for Kentucky.
