Crazy though is that he was a boom in fantasy with 24Fpts. But they don't truly have good metrics for QBs in fantasy.  

If he wants to prolong his career, he should consider it.

He definitely has shown he is limited in throwing the ball downfield, especially consistently. 

I don't see Panthers keeping him. They just brought him in for fan appeal and tickets. 

That's interesting to think of him as trying to prolong it as a TE. 

I wonder if any other QBs switched to another position during their careers?

I know several have from college to pro (Logan Thomas) , but Tebow is the only one I can think of that played QB in NFL first, then tried TE albeit unsuccessful.
