I just do not understand. Coach Wade is on tape paying players/recruits. Why, Why Why no penalties? It has been years and nothing seems to be happening.

NCAA President Mark Emmert was the LSU President 20 years ago. Made friends with Saban and a lot of other power players in Red Stick when he was there. Current LSU AD Scott Woodward is also Mark Emmert's daughter's (Step-)Father in Law. It's why Orgeron coached 2021 and why Will Wade is still at LSU. It's why Bama's obvious cheating (pre-NIL) went ignored for 10 years. With all the fervor over how Emmert and the NCAA mismanaged 2020 March Madness, etc., he still managed to get himself re-appointed with a contract extension. That is on member institution chancellors/presidents, who care more about $$$ than prudence.
