Here we go!  The last game of the 2021 season.  Let’s take our seniors and graduating juniors out with a win!  I am excited to see Harsin’s team continue to take shape as more of his guys will play this game.  War Eagle!

From a jaded fan's standpoint, there's something pathetic about celebrating the collapse to 6-6 with a bus ride to a low-tier bowl game in your arch rival's armpit. From a grateful fan's standpoint, it's awesome to be able to watch this season's version of AU football one more time. From any fan's standpoint, Progressive Stadium >> Legion Field.

In a vacuum, 6-6 in a coach's first year is nothing to be ashamed of.

Especially in this league.

Yup. CPD and CTT went 5-6 their first years.

HOWEVER, Mikey's post in the 2010 vs 2022 recruiting thread is pertinent. Tangible improvement will be expected by at least year 3.

Also, we ALWAYS get a team with something huge to play for in a bowl. SMH.

Man I hope Brooks can develop as a pass rusher on the edge next year. We've got nothing and took no one in this class.
