Louisville has to pay a huge buyout to their current coach and are facing severe NCAA sanctions for recruiting violations. A setback for sure. No way at 61 years old would Pearl leave the AU juggernaut he's built for the Louisville job. IMHO. I hope I'm right about that. But if Pearl was 51 instead of 61, I would be VERY worried. Only way I could see it happening is if Auburn wouldn’t commit to Pearl and the basketball program. Loved seeing the article come out today about Auburn committing to a men’s only BBall facility.
