Men vs Oklahoma

Recommended Posts

I'll do my best to update as the game goes but I'm listening on the radio and I'm not a fan of just listening to a baseball game ...

Rambusch grounds out, Howell strikes out, and Dyal grounds out. Middle 1st 0-0

Sheehan with his first Auburn strikeout for the first out.

Sheehan gets up 0-2, then throws 3 balls, and Oklahoma gets a single up the middle. Oklahoma steals 2nd on the very next pitch. Fly out to RF for out number two and the runner holds.

A walk after getting ahead 1-2. Control issues to start the season and a lot of pitches already. Wild pitch and runners advance. 2nd and 3rd with 2 out. 3rd full count in the inning but after a battle a hard hit line out right to Brody Moore. Sheenah threw 33 pitches that inning. Happy to get out of the inning without a run coming across.

DiChiara with a double to lead off the inning and his first hit as an Auburn Tiger!

Moore lines out for out #1. Ware grounds out to 3rd for out #2 but DiChiara does advance to 3rd. Need a clutch hit from Hill.

Hill grounds out to 3rd for out 3. Middle of 2nd game tied 0-0.

Armstrong with his first strikeout!

Ground out on the first pitch of the AB for out 2.

A 2 out walk gives Oklahoma another base runner but doesn't matter as Armstrong gets his 2nd strikeout.

End of the 2nd still tied.

Howell works the count to full and has a huge battle. 10 pitches and draws a walk.

Dyal flies out for out 1. DiChiara flies out to the warning track. Howell forgot how many outs there were and was halfway to third and he gets doubled up. Middle of the 4th no score.

Armstrong hits the leadoff batter.

Horton grounds out to SS and it's a double play! 2 down!

Armstrong hits another batter. 2 out man on 1st. A double for Oklahoma as Ware dives but can't catch it, runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs. Big moment for Armstrong

Bennett still in the game for Oklahoma, surprising with him having 66 pitches on opening day.

Moore grounds out for out 1.

Ware battles back from 0-2 to get the walk. Hill grounds out on a hit and run, Ware is at 2nd with 2 outs. Really need some clutch hitting.

2 out walk, Armstrong has done a great job to eat up innings and keep the game scoreless. Ware with a sliding catch for out 3.

5 scoreless innings. Need the bats to wake up.

Crooks hit by a pitch for the 2nd time today.

Sac bunt advances runner to 2nd with 1 out. Mullins gonna have to pitch great to get out of this without a run scoring.

Mullins picks off the runner on 2nd! Great job to wipe out the base runner! 2 down!

Fly out to Ware to end the inning. 3 hits total for both teams in 6 innings. Great pitching duel!

Dyal with a 1 pitch ground out. A lot of weak ground outs on early counts.

DiChiara with another double! He has both of Auburn's hits and they're both doubles! Really have to get some clutch hitting right now!

Moore draws a walk, runners on 1st and 2nd with 1 out. Big opportunity for Ware, here.

Mound visit for Oklahoma but Sundloff stays in to pitch. And he throws 1 pitch and gets a double play. Just awful, awful clutch hitting.

Scoreless in the middle of the 7th.

Campbell in to pitch for Sundloff.

8 pitch inning and nothing for Auburn. Rough seeing these at bats because they aren't even being competitive.
