Bright strikes out the leadoff batter but the runner reaches on a wild pitch. 2 fly outs and his 7th strikeout.

Sucks that the perfect game is gone because of the batter reaching on a wild pitch after striking out.

Farquhar, Hill, Ware up to bat

12-0 Auburn B5th

Moore grounds out.

Pierce batting for Dyal. Flies out to deep left center.

Moss batting for Foster. Strikes out swinging. Rhode Island pitcher has retired the last 9 Auburn hitters.

12-0 T7th. Wonder if Bright will come back to close it out. Hope so because he deserves it!

Lots of defensive subs:

Burk to 3B for Rambusch. Bellow to CF for Howell. Pierce stays in LF. Moss stays at 2B. LaRue in for Wyandt at C.

Granzow strikes out the first batter looking!

GROUND OUT FOR OUT 3! What a nice stretch from Farquhar at 1st!

AUBURN WINS 12-0!!!!! Baseball has it's 10th win of the season.

I know it's just Rhode Island but playing 5 games in 5 days and to pitch this well is making me hopeful for the season to come. War Eagle, everyone who followed along.

Pitching is going well and the bats heated up. Both very good signs for Auburn baseball.

Mullins gets a leadoff strikeout before giving up a single.

Groundout moves the runner to 2nd before he walks 2 to load the bases.

Gets out of the bases loaded jam with a strikeout. Auburn pitchers have done a great job this season getting out of bases loaded jams.

Moore singles to lead off, Dyal doubles down the line but Moore holds up at 3rd.

Moore has 97 hits in his career!

Ware strikes out looking on a high fastball. According to announcers that has been there all weekend, gotta start adjusting. Foster strikes out swinging.

AND WYANDT WITH A 3 RUN BOMB!! HIS FIRST AS A TIGER!!!

3-0 AUBURN

Mullins starts off the inning with a strikeout his 5th of the day.

Hits the next batter on a 3-2 pitch. His pitch count is climbing quickly.

Slow chopper to 3rd and Rambusch with a good throw, called out on the field but umps are reviewing it. Will update.

Edit: Call on field will stand. Very nice play by Rambusch.
