She was safe on the steal attempt also. Those of us on SEC+ can’t back it up and freeze frame but the umps have to do a better job with their equipment.

LSU won the first game 13-6.  Fouts started for bama, went 2 2/3, gave up 5 hits and 5 runs, walked 6.

Best start.  We were 23-3 in 2016. Went on a big run after the next loss to get to 42-4.

We started 24-1 in 2015 before losing the next game. Started 22-1 in 2016 before losing the next 2 games. Who knows how the season will progress but if we win at Kennesaw on Wednesday this will be the best start to a season. 🤞

Really pleased AU won all the games vs TA&M.  They had a fantastic infield; especially the left side.  Surprised that Peralta had 4 E during the series and has 9E this season so far. When I saw her play in the fall she literally ate up every ball hit her way.  Surprised she has been error prone so far this season.  Fortunately our hitting has come through big time.  All of our "starters" have two or more HR's so anyone is capable of turning a game around at any time.

Kennesaw is 7-13 on the season, including 4 consecutive losses to Samford.  They did lose only 8-6 to Arkansas at Fayetteville.   The team ERA is 5.27.  They still have Melanie Bennett, who shut us out last year.  3B Taylor Cates had two homers in their shutout victory over us last year.

Melanie Bennett beat us once in 2020 and twice in 2021. Man, I hope we can get some revenge!

Dismukes has been getting hit all game and getting out of trouble. She then gives up 3 singles in a row to load the bases with 1 out. Instead of going to the bullpen earlier, he lets Dismukes stay in against A&M's best hitter and she hits a grandslam.

After that Lowe comes in to get Auburn out of the inning.

6-5 Auburn B5th.

Coached said after the game that he went out to pull her and then changed his mind.  Admitted that it was on him.

I'm expecting the game against KSU to be rescheduled. I was planning to go, but we're supposed to have alot of rain here on Wednesday.
