Hunter Biden's laptop is going to take it's rightful place in Republican Party lore right alongside Obama's "Real" Birth Certificate and Hillary's emails.

I doubt it. Hunter didn't bleach his laptop.

Yeah, just left it in the storage room of a blind computer repair man who had Rudy Giuliani's phone number on speed-dial.

Silly Hunter.

No less than 3 AGs, 2 of which were Republicans with an axe to grind, concluded that there was no crime that could be justifiably prosecuted, yet that means nothing?  Come on..... if you were in her shoes, would you want your personal emails being sifted thru by people with nothing better to do than take something out of context and accuse you of God knows what?

Are you saying Hunter is dumber than Hillary? If so, I agree completely.

That doesn't change the fact that HC had information, salacious or not, wiped permanently. Hunter, in fact, does have salacious and potentially damaging information that has been seen and verified.

Sure?.

I don't know why Conservatives think Democrats as a whole have any love towards Hunter Biden. The dude's been a druggies most of his life and seems to be a grifter. If he's done anything illegal then throw his ass in jail.

I'm just glad that Joe Biden hasn't put his troubled, unqualified children in high ranking offices or positions of power like the other guy.

If the FBI's got the good on Hunter then let them pin him to the wall.

Exactly!

My concern over HB are two fold, the censorship and refusal to investigate and the possibility of a sitting president having being influenced by a foreign power, especially China.

Damaging to whom? To Hunter Biden?  Likely so. To anyone else, other than by association, not so much.

Who has refused to investigate?  Biden went to the degree of asking the U.S. Attorney for Delaware to stay on the job until this was completed.  He could have easily, and within his power, removed him and replace him.

Riiiiiiight, that's why is was trying to be discredited so hard prior to the '20 election. Because there was nothing at all about Joe or the Biden family.

People are acting as though this laptop was seized by the government.  It was brought to the government by a 3rd party who has a motive to damage the reputation of the owner.  Hunter is indeed a dumb ass in many ways, but the FBI isn't simply going to take everything they find on the device as being fact.  You cannot prosecute a crime based on that evidence alone.

Nothing like Ukraine.  Biden had no power to remove anyone in Ukraine.  He did have a demand that the prosecutor in question be removed due to his history of corruption and ties to Russia. He made that demand on behalf of the U.S. President, the U.S. Senate's Special Committee on Ukraine and a bi-partisan group of Senators and Congressmen.  Simultaneously, the U.K., E.U., and the World Bank and IMF also demanded the prosecutor's removal.

Hunter sure does have some friends in high places to be able to get all those nations and organizations on his side.

You're right, but it should've immediately been fully investigated. Not kicked down the road and certainly shouldn't have been censored across social media or the MSM.

Follow me for a sec...

If the situations were the same minus Hunter and Eric changing roles. Do you honestly feel like the MSM, social media, or congress would have  ignored it and pushed it down the road?

It doesn't matter the letter after the name. That's my point.  Something was a miss. It was ignored and anyone that talked about it was silenced or made to look like an inept conspiracy theorist. That is a huge problem and the left trying to ignore it this time will be falling over themselves if it were to happen again but to them. This isn't a R or D thing to me.

What is known about Hunter's dealings in China?

In 2013, Hunter flew aboard Air Force Two with his father, who was then vice-president, on an official visit to Beijing, where the younger Biden met investment banker Jonathan Li.

Hunter told the New Yorker he had just met Mr Li for "a cup of coffee", but 12 days after the trip a private equity fund, BHR Partners, was approved by the Chinese authorities. Mr Li was chief executive and Hunter was a board member. He would hold a 10% stake

This story was filed on April 6th of 2021 by the BBC.  They were looking into it before the NYT even admitted it was real.  Hmmm.  I guess our investigative reporters are a little slow.

I agree, that is a bad look.  That is part of the liquidation of interests that Hunter didn't pay taxes on when they were due, from what I remember sitting here.  Trying to connect Biden to some kind of illegal activity based on that seems really disingenuous considering the level of grift involved with the most recent former President's children.

I totally agree.  That, in and of itself, is not illegal.  It might smell to high heaven, but it isn't illegal.

There was only 4 years of Russia if you tuned into programming that reinforced that belief.  The impeachment was a much bigger deal.  In that ordeal, Republicans in the Senate simply chose party over truth.  I would have understood their actions and votes had they at the very least admitted that Trump did what it was proven he did.  Instead, all but a few chose to pretend that what was proven really meant something else.  It was very much like waking up and swearing to everyone that the sky is purple, not blue.

What again was proven? No collusion comes immediately to mind.
