From what I am reading Copeland looked good. Could he be a middle reliever where we seem to be having issues?

Konner Copeland (1-0, 0.00) made his second start of the year and began the game in impressive fashion, retiring 10 consecutive batters from the first inning through the fourth before surrendering a single. Copeland tossed four scoreless innings and allowed two hits with one walk and eight strikeouts to secure his first win in an Auburn uniform.

"I felt great," Kopeland said. "I hadn't seen innings like this before, so I just wanted to come out and do the best I could and try to dominate. This win means a lot to me, and I hope to do the same thing with the next opportunity that I get."

Great to that type of performance. Some folks that follow the program know he is capable of last nights type of performance. This team is on track to some good things.

Maybe I shouldn't do updates during the game. :P We play better when I don't.

So happy that we were able to hit the ball with runners on and Copeland pitched great. Would be so nice to get another reliable arm out of the bullpen and during midweek games.

I sure hope so. We're getting to the later stretch of the season, and it would be great to have him step in. It looks like he might be ready.

Absolutely don’t stop. You do a great job. A few years back I lived down on the coast and no network affiliate around. Recall a few times that the stream was screwed up and this board was my way of keeping up with game. Never know who you are helping out. Headed down to the coast in a few minutes and looking forward to tuning in this evening.

7th inning stretch time

Not quite the flavor Harry would put into the song, but definitely passes the eye ball test.
