toughest schedule in country

Kinda sounds like the 3-6/6 format is gaining traction. The SEC meets in Destin next month to decide the format.

This is how I want it for us, though it would still need tweaking--Texas A&M's is BRUTAL.

Here are some other proposals I've seen:

https://www.secrant.com/rant/sec-football/tried-a-best-possible-attempt-at-3-permanent-rivals-for-3-6-scheduling/102453205/ (Heaven forbid we get this one--even a UAT fan said this was too tough for us)

I think my dream would actually be 1-7/7 (remain at eight games, every team gets paired with one other team as shown in the link below), but I know that won't happen.

Do away with the divisions like everyone else is seemingly doing. Either way it won’t matter we will always be tied to playing Bama and UGA because they are our rivals. Time for some in here to learn the meaning of “radical acceptance.”

So, the ACC has announced its schedule for at least the next four years. While it uses three permanent opponents, it's 8 games. Praying the latter part is more indicative of what the SEC chooses--think how much easier it will be for us to come back without having to play the toughest schedule every single year.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like TX and OK are willing to pay the $ (which to be fair is much higher than I thought). So that means in '24 we have to play the 2019 schedule again. 🤮
