Psaki won’t condemn abortion protests at justices’ homes or leak of draft ruling

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Thursday declined to condemn activist plans to protest for abortion rights at the homes of Supreme Court justices — or to condemn the leak this week of a draft opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade.

Psaki tried to redirect the discussion when pressed on the potentially chaotic protests at the homes of the court’s six conservative members — three of whom are believed to live in Maryland and three in Virginia.

“Do you think that progressive activists that are now planning protests outside some of the justices’s houses are extreme?” Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked at a briefing.

“Peaceful protest? No, peaceful protest is not extreme,” Psaki replied.

Of course "Peaceful Protests" is just a Dog Whistle for "Mostly Peaceful Protests."

So let me get you on record.

If someone in the govt does anything we dont like, we should go protest at their home, with molotov cocktails?

David’s speciality. Those right wing roots run deep.

No. Violent protest are reserved for electoral vote certifications just as God intended.

Well, the Mostly Peaceful Protests were done 1-2 years prior to it....

And yet you include the photos as if they are tied to Roe protests. 🙄

I included them because Psaki Dog Whistled them into the discussion when she would say that they should not happen. She even used the term "Peaceful" as a reminder of the "Mostly Peaceful Protests."

Yall do realize that at this point NOTHING has actually happened? It was a first draft that is not finalized at all.

The states do not have laws in place that are ACTIVE. They may have some there but they are not active nor are they actively enforced.

All the pearl clutching is for really nothing as we know it now. There is nothing but a ton of supposition and masturbation. We dont actually know ANYTHING at this moment.

Several states have trigger laws for when Roe is overturned.

You and your damn facts and reality. You dont understand that this is about THEIR concepts and beliefs. It doesnt matter at all that Psaki and the Dems ENCOURAGED this. Because how the **** dare they have separate thoughts from the ONLY things that they consider. So Mostly Peaceful Protests, you know, with fires and damages etc are PERFECTLY OK to them because they are so ******* shallow that they cannot admit that anyone that disagrees with them is even human and deserves the same consideration that they do.

What I learned this AM is that the LEFT IS PROUD that they are openly intimidating their families and children. THEY ARE PROUD OF IT.

This is why people want to be able to defend their homes with firearms. This is one action away from a lynching...

Right wing tactic that has saturated the media as whole: “Quit talking about what the government is doing and condemn this! Give us that sound bite to run with instead! Condemn this or you’re for it!”

Looks like a peaceful protest.

If anyone does anything out of line then they need to be arrested and charged, but in that video im not seeing anyone doing anything wrong.

That's from that pro life building that was vandalized and set on fire, correct? Nothing to do with the protests at the Justices's homes

Hope the vandals who burned down that building are brought to justice.

It's still against the law to protest at a judges home.

Dude don’t bring facts and laws into this. The Senate and the House just approved raised security for SCOTUS When we all know there was no need for it at all. <sarcasm from hell>.

Jen Psaki just corrected herself after the protests started getting out of hand. Suddenly she condemns that thing she wouldn’t condemn 2-3 days ago. But we all know there is nothing here right? Just a bunch good old boys and girls out protesting at homes.

i would ask how you folks would feel about Proud Boys protesting at Pelosi’s, Waters, Schumers homes. But I am 100% sure the response would be some unintelligible drivel like always. Seems no one on this board can think past 5 minutes from now.

If you vote to pack SCOTUS, you hand that to the Republicans to beat you to death with when they are back in power.

If you set up a Ministry of Truth, you give that to the Republicans, and/or trump too when they are back in power.

If you are okay with protesters showing up at Washington DC homes, then you must acknowledge that soon your guys are going to be dealing with protests when they take their kids to school etc

You don’t get this s*** one way. If you are that short sighted, YAASF.

The Supreme Court is getting ready to allow Republican States to strip away rights from women that they've had for half a decade now, and you're more concerned about the precedence and implications of a handful of people shouting and waving signs outside the judges houses.

unbelievable.

And The Republican Party already packed the Supreme Court when they blocked Garland then slammed through their pick right before they got voted out of power. Not as if the reputation or legitimacy of the Supreme Court could get much lower anyway.
