Nice stop by the fielder to keep it out of the outfield but LaRue was booking it down the line. Farquhar gets hit. Great job by the bottom of the lineup to get on base for the big hitters. Interesting. And he bunts to third and LaRue is out at 3rd. Do NOT like bunting your lead off hitter. DiChiara with a grounder to 1st. Throws to 2nd but throws it wide! Farquhar scores! Moore goes to 3rd. Also, DiChiara is batting .401 now. Seen his average drop about 50 points in the last couple of weeks. tgrogan21 6,198 Posted May 14, 2022 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Just want to give another shout out to the bullpen. It has gotten a lot of hate early on in the season and maybe rightfully so. But over the past several series it has kept us in every game except the Tennessee blowout. Being able to pitch 14 straight innings without surrendering a run is so impressive. Hopefully John Armstrong, Allsup, Swilling, Sheehan will continue to improve and Burkhalter and Skipper will continue their consistent efforts.
