So what do you guys think about john fetterman?

other than getting emails from hi wanting money and me to give his wife back i know little about him. they say he can handle trump and then some. what ya got Fam?

Don't really know what to make of him. Dude looks like a linebacker and is extremely blunt, but has solid progressive ideals, a very impressive education and seems to walk the walk.

It's up in the air how well he'll do on the big stage. The "outsider" image certainly has its benefits these days.

He is the type guy that you meet you would like and want and go have a beer with. He is down home and seems like a regular guy which will help in in Pennsylvania but he seems extremely progressive on just about everything except defund the police. He is for no bans on abortion right up to birth of the baby. He is a large Bernie Sanders clone who basically believes in socialism.

I think he could win in Pennsylvania which was my Dad's home state but it will be a nail biter and I predict whichever Republican comes out on top will just barely beat him but I would not bet any money on it. I think the Democrats have found their best candidate to have a chance in Pennsylvania which seems to be slowly going red similar to what has happened in Ohio in last few years and seems to be happening in Florida.  A few years ago Demographics favored the Democrats becoming the dominant Party but we are starting to see large numbers of Hispanics moving to the Republican side and smaller but appreciable numbers of Blacks also moving the Republican side which is taking away the Demographic advantage that they had based on those groups.

My wife who is Hispanic and her Family all started out as Democrats but the majority have switched to the Republican side. While I sponsored my wife and she came here legally many years ago in her family there are many who came here illegally but through amnesty became legal and then became citizens these were the type of people everybody has assumed were diehard Democrats and that is how they started but most have now changed. Pennsylvania has a growing Hispanic community and his stand on Abortion hurt him in that community. 

Many could accept abortion with limits but the no limits is off the board for them  add that to gas prices, Inflation, loss of money in 401K's, high crime, large influx of illegals and people are angry at the Party in power whether they are responsible for all the problems or not.

I thought Fetterman was a rubber stamp for the Dems in all thing.  I have been pleasantly surprised by his stance on Israel conflict with Hamas.
