I remember watching those JR highlights  with Raita on commentary. Made me sick because at that point Cadillac was considered a lock to Bama.

The Etowah High play by play guy (Steve Pricket) called him Cadillac over the radio his entire Junior and Senior year.

He admits, he didn’t come-up with the nick-name, but he probably helped spread it around the state.
