The rules are simple: Make a bold prediction about the season that you have a gut feeling about, but most people might disagree - and/or think you are crazy for believing. And start those predictions with "Mark My Word" because you are sure about it, no apologies. Don't debate or flame other posters' predictions on this thread, it is just for the predictions. Another rule: Don't make a wimpy prediction that everyone either knows or agrees with because, well, that would suck (and it's the only time flaming is allowed). Predict anything about the season, AU football, AU Family (and the members), and even the Nip. No politics please! We win 9 games & will get good QB play from TJ Finely. But that will not stop the board from crying about 1 overthrow. JSS will get his first TD in a while. If the former, Harsin is obviously fired, but if the latter, he wins NCOY and is a hero in the media's eyes and fan base. If 9-3 happens, he leverages it into an extension, but Dr. Roberts is wise and doesn't get bent over like Leath did with Gus. However, if we refuse to negotiate an extension, he dips. Our signature win will be against a Penn St team that finishes top 15. Tank will punk Bama and be invited to Heisman ceremony but lose to repeater Bryce and Bama's superior media machine (i.e. "bryce beat tank") Brahms will shave beard but go undrafted Our 2d most productive receiver will be a TE Geriner will look great in limited playing time We'll have a love/hate relation w/ TJ: he'll lead, give 110% and make many stunning completions but flub some easy tosses @ the wrong time (see Harsin commemts re TJ in scrimmage). Harsin will be back, end up w/ a top 30 recruiting class by December and learn how to play the NIL game in '23. That would likely be true. If talent turned out to be the reason AU wins 8-9 games we all know said talent didn't come from Harsin's recruiting.
