Keeping Harsin is the lesser of two evils

Above all else what gets me is recruiting. Everyone was upset with how Gus’s recruiting tapered off at the end of his regime. But it has managed to become worse under Harsin. You can’t win today if you can’t recruit. Unless Harsin shows recruiting prowess right now, he has no chance to turn it around.

Bingo.

People bring up 2012 as awful, rightly so: the on-field product was god awful….but the talent was there, particularly on the OL. We needed a quarterback and lucked into one then 2013 happened. This talent situation is the worst we’ve been since 1998, maybe even early 1980s

You think it is bad now, wait until you see the OL roster next year (if no changes).

I agree. Whoever replaces Harsin (is anybody even pretending he will be our coach come December at this point lol) needs to really do well in the portal or all of our QBs may take a preemptive medical redshirt next year (maybe Calzada was premature here)
