Sorry, I just don't understand the logic used by players committing to Auburn football at this time, from basically August 2022 through and until the next coach is hired. What's the point? How can any player be sure he will fit with the new scheme? I have more respect for the players "hiding" at schools like TAMU and who will transfer to Auburn once Sanders becomes coach - you'll hear a giant sucking sounds and it'll be a good one - like much of the talent on many of the rosters around the country, suddenly being drawn to the loveliest village on the plain. Oh, what a happy day.

Pickings are going to be so slim by the time we hire a new coach there is no way the new staff will be able to be that choosey by ESD.

Isn't that special. You have a 3-point plan. If it were any good, you'd be on staff so, IGNORE. The point is: New Head Coach, New Evaluation of Coaching Staff & Player Personnel. Period. To argue otherwise, insisting the new coach keep players he may consider unworthy; I mean, what do you want the new guy to do: play Bo Nix again - wtf?

New Coach. New Start. Keep your player evaluations as your own.

No, you're entirely wrong again. There won't be any more scrambling than there's been in the past 2.5 years. If anything, it'll get better and if D.Sanders is hired, it'll be great - a great flood of eligible talent coming into Auburn, moving out these early commits who have less stars assigned. I've made my point convincingly to myself, so I'm done w/ this argument and very, very glad YOU are NOT running anything at Auburn Athletics.

I don't always agree with Mikey's posts, but he's spot on in this one. Beggars can't be choosers, and if anyone's watched Auburn football this year, we're poor, hungry, tired, blind, broken beggars. We better not look any sort of gift horse, or recruit, in the mouth this season, no matter who the AD, coach, or assistants are.
