no one said anything about him committing any crimes. and no, none of this has be debunked.

look, i don't care about the ncaa stuff tbh. the really bad part is lying to all the recruits and parents. i mean out right blatantly lying about things you are part of and know. thats a character credibility issue and it extends further to the escorts which he admitted to calling and using and cheating on his wife with. yes its between them but along with the lying to all the players and families we have a pattern of slimey behavior. its a pattern.

Ok, understandable concerns. Who would ur ideal candidate be

Well for one of my escort services   It takes about.............I  don't know.   I never did that.   I'd imagine less than 30 seconds.

Don’t know, don’t care. Feel free to do the math yourself. As long as he doesn’t do it again, I’m happy to watch our new HC come in and make our team better.

idk. probably smart as much as i hate to say it. obv thats not an option.

for this particular search i literally would have been content with just about anyone but freeze. he was the one guy i absolutely didn't want. id rather have gus back with a BA oline coach/recruiter tbh.

but freeze is the guy now. ill likely piss and moan about this another couple days then ill turn the page and be ready to get back to cheering for Auburn football again.

Wow.... just WOW.

How is he gonna coach Auburn? This DM is definitely gonna land him in a federal prison.

Yup. That’s it. Definitely not smart but also not the bomb shell some were pushing.

I said this on another thread. The context is active legal action and federal investigation, and he's tampering with a complainant/potential witness. In most of the business world, definitely in my neck of the academic world, that's a fireable offense. It's certainly disqualifying for a hire.

The courtroom stuff is over.     She "texted" (tagged him)  him first about something that happened before he got there.  He was responding to her tag.   It is not like it was out of the blue.

It seems as though the no discussing issue goes both ways.   Not smart of him to respond, but not smart of her to tag him while publicly talking about the issue.  How is that not tampering? ....  unless the trail is over.

Dude.....as a public figure and leader of a program you block and/or ignore people who tag you on twitter and say bad things about you.

You don't engage with them. That can ONLY ever lead to bad outcomes. Doubly so when the person you're engaging with is involved with legal and sexual assault allegations with your organization. When you are in high positions of power, authority, and responsibility it's assumed that you will be and should be smarter than random people on social media.

Nobody is saying that this woman is doing or saying the right things, but this random woman isn't the head coach of Auburn football or involved in our program in any way.

I understand that.   But rules are rules.  They work both ways.

There are administrators, there are employees, and there are persons outside the organization. Different rules for each category.

This . Make a freaking mountain out of a mole hill. There were people on this board calling him a rapist. He shouldn’t have reached out at all no question, but a lot of trash I have seen posted about him is uncalled for.

That’s not the full conversation. She has something like 20 messages from Freeze. She can’t release the rest due to a potential upcoming lawsuit. Freeze made an attempt to coerce a person to reverse course in an internal whistleblow. That’s against the law.

Let me ask u this. The University hired a search firm. U don’t think they are aware  of everything . The stuff we are just finding out they already knew about.

She also said that she never tagged him in tweets, which was proven to be a lie.

Same. I get it...it was a stupid thing to do, but not worth ruining the man's career.

Agreed, but this isn't the only thing. It's another example of poor judgement. And examples that are much more concerning than what Pearl did (that we know of) before the plains.

I know Freeze can coach, but I am feeling queasy and am worried that this won't end well. It's a shame to go from someone with such good judgement like Cadillac to someone that I will always worry about is 1 decision away from the program going up in flames.

Enough. He's our head coach. Not a level headed person on this board cares about this conversation anymore. You and everyone else have shared their thoughts on this issue until blue in the face. It's time to move on. Support our head coach and our team. That's not hard to ask
