This was predictable. Walker won the Republican primary because Trump backed him. Sadly Trump picks who he will back by how hard they kiss is nether regions. Walker was a flawed candidate as were most of the Trump backed candidates.  Better candidates for the Senate in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Arizona and the Republicans might have taken control of the Senate. I am not sure that even a better candidate would have won in Arizona as Kelly is a formidable candidate.  In Pennsylvania the Republicans ran an extremely bad candidate for Governor (Because Trump backed him) who pulled the ticket down for everybody including Oz. Oz while ok was not he best candidate and yet still made it a close election. Walker who was extremely flawed still managed to make it a close race.
