Could’ve been a lot worse! To think in two weeks HF flipped four star recruits from Florida State, Tennessee and Ohio State! I don’t think Deion could’ve done that.

Of course this is besides the portal, Jr College pick ups and the three stars we flipped as well.

Given the short amount of time the new coaching staff have had to work with and the hole Harsin dug us into, this is really an impressive ESD. I'm optimistic that they can pull some studs from the portal now.

Yes, there was also a ton of negative recruiting going on based on HF’s past. Despite all that, he performed quite well in a very short amount of time!

Awesome! And how about HF giving credit where credit is due, rather than pounding his chest and taking all the credit himself.

With the situation HF is in, some at AU still not excepting/forgiving him because of his past, it would’ve been so easy for him to take full credit for this class. But he didn’t do that, shows the type of guy he is.

I don't want to put a damper on what has been a most excellent day but...

It seems like LB is an area of critical need (although I guess you could say that about most positions). I don't think we signed any today. Anyone have insight on what the plan is here? Any Feb signees or portal guys we are looking at?

I watched an Auburn Undercover video on YouTube earlier. They updated some commits (at this time Lee hadn't flipped from Ohio State) and said Lee was probably going to flip judging by Zac Etheridge tweeting "We ain't done yet." After that they took some questions from their followers and one question was about Cobb waiting until actual Signing Day in Feb. 2023 to sign and if there's a chance that he flips from now until Feb. The hosts answered no. I believe they said his high school has a tradition of every player signing at the same time so he will wait and sign then at the ceremony. They said Scott will sign at halftime of the Under Armour game in January. 

Makes me feel alot better. WDE

I don’t know of any but “Mikey” is usually on top of the linebacker recruiting.

By what 24/7 has, yes. The only unsigned guys are: Cobb, Elijah McAllister, and Fairweather.

That’s my point. Why say this after a remarkable recruiting day and all positive during his first several weeks on the job.

I’ve been in and out of this all day and missed a big chunk of the day.  I know these guys are tired and they’ve done a wonderful job keeping up with it all.  I just went to auburntigers.com and found the complete signed list, rather than trying to read all the threads.

I want to thank Zeek for starting this thread and keeping it updated. For all the people who had positive comments on this thread. It was nice to get a dose of good news so I want to thank you also.

For the gentleman who asked about Linebackers it is a legitimate concern. We lost most of our starters this year who did not play at the level we were hoping for.  I think we were in good position for 1 or 2 HS LB's before we let our LB coach go as HF wanted his LB coach which I totally understand.  We have to either coach up the ones we still have or pick up some in the Portal. If we go after any HS LB's in late signing period they would probably development types not 1st year starters.

1. Do you think Dillion Johnson comes if Cobb announces later?

2. Do you think the WR's listed have not signed with other teams because they want to come to AU but want to see what our QB answer is from the portal?

3. Of the 4 OL listed, how many do you think we get?  Heard Rouse is least likely due to AU academics??

4. We really need those listed on Defense.  Do you feel optimistic here?

5.  Do we really need more in the secondary?  We are pretty stacked there now, correct?  I would prefer we hit the LB room harder than getting more DB's and Safety's.  Thoughts?
