The Tigers made a late push in Lee’s recruitment due to various name, image and likeness opportunities on the Plains and got him on campus for an official visit earlier this month. RunInRed 16,370 Posted December 21, 2022 Author Share Posted December 21, 2022 Auburn wasn't considered to be a strong contender for Lee back in the summer, who took visits to Nebraska, Oregon and Ohio State. Following his June visit to Columbus, Ohio, Lee made the commitment to the Buckeyes. It didn't take long for Freeze to get the 5-foot-11 Georgia native on campus. Lee took an official visit the weekend following Freeze's hiring and the Tigers' recruiting efforts paid off when Lee flipped.
