He was one of our best last year and it was known that he would not qualify. I haven't heard anything about him and hope he ends up at Auburn. Is he still in Junior colleger or is he going somewhere else?

Still in Juco and doing well from everything I've read. I think it will be 08' before he can get here (could be wrong) but he still plans on coming to AU when done.

On that note, why do some of these guys opt for JUCO? From what I understand, they can go to prep school and come back after one year if they have the grades (BO Harris, Chris Slaughter). However, they usually have to spend two years at a JUCO before they can get back. It seems like prep school would be the way to go for all of them.

You can only go to prep school if you fail one or two classes, but otherwise your GPA was good enough.

If you have a bad GPA and bad test scores, you have to take the juco route.

He is in Copiah-Lincoln Junior College in Mississippi I believe.

Latest I heard was that he had a great year on the field (something like 9 sacks in only 6-7 games played) but had a "so-so" year in the class room. Should be a high 4-star or low 5-star recruit next year (in other words, a Greg Smith type JUCO recruit) if everything progresses correctly.
