"A week ago, after an official visit to Auburn, Cooper announced his commitment to the Tigers. Then he got a visit from Alabama coach Nick Saban, who offered him a scholarship and convinced him to visit campus. Then Auburn upped the ante by removing the grayshirt stipulation.

After returning from Tuscaloosa on Sunday, Cooper said he remains committed to Auburn. But it might not be over yet.

"I still consider myself an Auburn commitment," Cooper said. "Alabama is a great place and I had a real good time on my visit. I think I'm going to take another couple of days and weigh everything out. I'm just going to consider everything in general. Probably, where I feel the most comfortable will be the big deal."

Cooper said his past allegiance to Alabama would not be a factor.

"No, not at all," he said. "You can't be a fan anymore."
