I'm not sure you should have used Rivals as your source for this reason. I live in Birmingham and read the Birmingham News each morning before. Since the arrival of Saban at UAT, the Bham News has been full of the wonderful recruiting that has been going on over there ... the top people in the nation have been there. Day after day the Bham News has been singing the praises of Saban and UA. Imagine my shock when going to Rivals and finding AU ranked number 8 in the nation for the the 2007 recruiting class and then discovering UA ranked number 27. How can Rivals have any credibility now? ... do you think they are ignoring the Bham News and its evaluation of how great things are at UAT? Help me out on this.

Life is just funny that way. <_<

You are correct, the B'ham News has jumped on the band wagon and is pumping up Saban on a daily basis. Just as the B'ham TV & radio stations have been doing. They have been taking every opportunity to force feed the Kool-Aid to anyone near. Let's face it, the Saban hire was good for them, Bama fans in droves are listening and reading looking at the pictures. For the past FIVE years therapist in the state have been raking in most of the money.
