awwww, Skeeter has a man crush. how sweet. The Prowler reports things as "inside info" as soon as he gets a text message from ESPN's service, or reads a rumor on another board. i've never seen him post anything really groundbreaking here. while i disagree with metafour's evaluation of a player half the time, i can't really argue his credibility as far as usually being spot on about where somebody might be leaning towards.

Gene Stallings constantly talked about the importance of players graduating, but Bammer had one of the worst graduation rates in the entire country while he was the coach in Tuscaloser. Mike DuBose constantly talked about showing class, but he was caught banginging his own secretary. Saban also spends a lot of time talking about class, but he constantly makes a fool out of himself during every single one of his press conferences and half the players on the Bammer football team have been arrsted by the police since he became the head coach in Tuscaloser.

i think every coach in America probably talks about the importance of players graduating. Stallings last coached for UA 12 years ago, so its kinda difficult for me to remember exactly what he might have said about players graduating. i'm glad you as an AU fan can remember something a former coach said 12 years ago. i don't think there were many folks that were that supportive of Dubose as a coach after the harassment deal, as he was fired the next season.

Your post is just a typical Bammer attempt to twist the facts. I have never heard Bammers ridicule the Auburn gymnastics team for being dumb. However, they constantly ridicule Auburn football players for being dumb when their football program currently has the 2nd lowest graduation rates in the SEC. Bammers also constantly ridicule Auburn football players for making low scores on the NFL Wonderlic Test when they have had 4 or 5 football players make ridiculously low scores on the NFL Wonderlic Test in recent years. Your claim that most Bammers didn't support DuBose after the harrassment deal is pretty funny considering the Bammer still kept DuBose as their coach even after he publicly admitted that he had been having sex with his own secretary. DuBose was only fired the next season because he went 3-8 and it became obvious that the Alabama football program was going to be investigated by the NCAA. DuBose having sex with his secretary had absolutely nothing to do with him being fired.

Isn't Auburn just being ranked higher than Bama because of the number of recruits and not because of rankings of players? There are several schools that have 11 recruits and ranked higher than Auburn. Out of the 11 recruits, Auburn only has 1 player with stars, and out of the 6 for Bama 3 have stars. In the end isn't that how they are ranked, and I am just asking, because I really don't follow recruiting, but have taken a new interest in the last 2 years. I really don't care, because until we show something on the field and show how we are going to use these players, it really doesn't prove anything.
