10 Reasons LSU will beat Auburn

1. Trindon Holliday - He has now mastered returning punts as well as kicks. If Tubby is dumb enough to punt or kick to him, see you later. He is the fastest college football player in the country.

2. The trend has to end - The trend of the home team winning this series has to come to a stop at some point. Why not this year?

3. Auburn's Spread Offense - Can you really call what Auburn does with the ball an offense? 3 points against Mississippi St is terrible. How do you expect to score against LSU if you score 3 against the bulldogs.

4. Ref's - The SEC knows that LSU got hosed last time at Auburn. They are not going to let it happen again. This game is in the national spotlight.

5. Charles Scott - He has been on fire this season. He looks unstoppable so far. I expect him to have a huge day, and not be caught.

6. Gary Crowton - Crowton is the best OC in the country. We may have inexperienced QB's, but he will scheme us into some quality drives.

7. 3-2 - Congrats on your baseball team's victory last week.

8. LSU's last trip to Auburn - A lot of the players on this team remember that 7-3 loss in JOrdan Hare 2 years ago. They did not want that disgusting feeling of losing to an Auburn team again.

9. Auburn's Kickers - Auburn's kickers can never make field goals against LSU. You may as well go for it on 4th down instead of setting up for a field goal.

10. D-Line for LSU- Anytime Lester or Tate try to run up the gut they will meet one of these big fellows. Tremaine Johnson, Al Woods, Ricky Jean-Francios, Tyson Jackson, Kirsten Pittman, Marlon Favorite, Drake Nevis, Charles Alexander, and Rahim Alem will all play.

You've given the reasons why you'll lose! Never, and I say NEVER underestimate Tommy Tuberville in a situation like this. He didn't show everything against MSU and he may go back to fundamental, run oriented football with Tate, Fannin, Eric Smith and maybe Lester pounding the ball mixed in with an occasional pass to Rod Smith or Tommy Trott. Given this, combined with a fantastic defense and motivation from last year...........you may just get surprised. BTW, the experts have only made you guys a 2 point favorite which in inconsequential.

You can add smack all you want, but one thing you need to consider. I personally believe this might be the best defense Auburn has had under Tuberville. If you add to the fact that our coaches love to add unpredictability to the LSU game. Auburn will be ready for your 1-10. You can count on that. :au:

Can you read? I gave reasons LSU will win. He should have shown a little bit more against MSU. Maybe you guys would have scored more than 3 points

One reason we'll win.

You're not playing a 1AA team or the Mean Green of North Texas.

They both have better offenses than your team does

Wrong again. It just looked that way against your wack ass defense. But thanks for trying.

And you know they won't be back if they lose

And neither will you after Georgia loses. By the way, how does a team start the season as No. 1 and drop to No. 3 without a loss? Perhaps UGA should've played for the Nat'l Championship even though they didn't win the conference.

How does a team win the national championship and start off not even in the top 5 the next year?

This one made me chuckle. Last year this game was on a national scene and on the air and LSU got 4 calls their way to keep them in the game.

1 was for 7 points.

1 was a 3rd down play over a yard short of the line and it was spotted really far up.

Auburn got hosed last year as much as LSU has gotten hosed.

The problem is only the loser complains about bad officiating. Unfortunatley the SEC official's are crappy from top to bottom.

So are you for showing up on game week just to talk smack. Weak as hell.

Very weak and unimaginative. But what would you expect from LSWho....they couldn't even bring haiku smack, sonnet smack, or bad food smack. Amateur hour, I guess.

No, Southlink isn't a drive-by member of our board. He doesn't throw bombs for a week or so every year and then come back to cry about the refs jobbing his Tigahs.

Go eat some nutria-rat or something.

Dude, simple reading here will help you not look so ignorant. SL has been a member here since before 2003 and has nearly 10,000 posts here. You have been a member since 2004 with your hit and run posts of 400 and run off at the mouth? That's hilarious. SL will be here win or lose in any game UGA plays this year. He handles himself with class and integrity here and has yet to post any flame bait posts such as yourself. You show up once or twice a year to run off at the mouth and then disappear. rinse and repeat. SL isn't a fair weather fan here. He's one of us by proxy based on how he presents himself and respects where he is. It would do you good to learn a lesson or two from him. We know your track record here. You'll come back to run your mouth some more after the game if lsu wins, then you'll disappear again. If lsu loses, you MAY come back to complain about how your team got screwed or we cheated, if you come back at all. Grow up and learn to respect where you are.

I cannot wait until Mr. Rookie QB in his first away game at Auburn 6:45 PM meets Mr. Blackmon. It is going to be absolutely deafening.

Are you corndogs ready?

You thought North Texas was tough. :roflol::roflol:

It makes me chuckle b/c he seems to honestly believe that the refs will fix it the other way to "make up for it".
