OK, now that the debacle known as 2008 Auburn Football is over (thank God), I am interested in what has happened in baseball since the new coach was hired.

Can anyone give me a quick capsule history of the past few months and how things are looking for this season?

Hitting is going to be the most solid part of this team early on. We are young on the mound, but we get a couple of guys back from injury (Burnside the foremost). Our defense will be pretty solid, and the fundamentals of this team look better overall. We lost some real studs in the field, but the batting could be even better than last year.

Picthing will be the critical part of this team. Can we grow up fast enough to be ready for SEC play?
