Lache Seastrunk, the UO Scout Team RB who ran his mouth a little bit recently, has gotten tagged on Facebook in at least 3 photos very much like this by Auburn fans (with guys like Fairley tagged as the Tiger in most of them/as an Eagle in one of them)

Yes, the real life version of your mascot hunts and kills the real life version of our mascot.

But....

At least we have a mascot whose real life version is part of our eco system.

Walk around the north part of the UO campus near the mill race, and you see dozens, if not hundreds of ducks.

How many tigers roam around that part of Alabama?

See the fear and trepidation that a picture of a real live duck instills in people, like the Avatar to the left!!!

Tigers, no.

But Auburn University along with the state of Alabama have put a program into effect the last 10-12 years to repopulate the Eagles around the area. I know for a fact of three separate Eagle families, and two Osprey repopulation areas...the benefits of having a dual-mascot system :big:
