Remember how bad Ben Leard looked early in his career. If we can sure up the OL I think we make big improvements next year.

Exactly. I'm not ready to give up on Moseley just yet. AJ McCarron wouldn't be nearly as good if he had our O-line instead of Alabama's.

Very disappointed in our offensive execution this year. I blame it on inexperience the first six or so games. After that....you have to blame it on something else. The O line was pathetic all year. They never got better. QB play was atrocious. Mosley and Trotter both proved they are not even close to decent QB's. Why we did not play KF much more to get him ready I do not know.

CGM coached his worse year of college football. The play calling in crucial situations this year was awful.I was very disappointed in him. If he is going to North Carolina then don't let the door hit him in the A$$. If not then he better get his you know what in gear.

Our defense was just as bad. They would show up a series here and there and then vanish again. 3 years is more than enough time to get better. The D has now stunk for three years. Same things keep happening....blown assignments....lack of pressure.....no disguised blitzes or coverages. Roof must go. Thigpen and Lolley need to go with him.

Getting beat by better teams by two touchdowns or so...ok I can live with that. Getting blown out and embarrassed by teams is unacceptable.

^^^This, this, & MORE OF THIS!!!!^^

Freeman broke down after his final game at Jordan-Hare. Was consoled by both Auburn and Alabama coaches at one point.

I'm still trying figure the dyer wildcat play on 4th and short.

Malzahn thought he could trick their defense.

When you watch it again, if Dyer follows his lead blocker #71, HE SCORES!

Blame that one on Dyer, not Gus. It was there, and as much as I love Dyer, he should have followed his blockers.

It was nice and refreshing to see the players for both teams on the field shaking hands, hugging and having good sportsmanship win or lose. We have a lot of fans that could learn from the maturity on the field.

7-5 was a good rebuilding year for a young AU team. Good luck until next years Iron Bowl!

Thanks. A little more rebuilding that most of us wanted to see, but this team will only get better.

(Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away, BamaGrad used to have posts like this...)

Not without several changes in the coaching staff...including strength and conditioning.

@JHokanson

That guy has so much HEART! It baffles me how it did not rub off on the rest of our Defense players! But I hope and pray that some NFL team will take a chance on him either through the draft or free agency b/c I would welcome a guy like him on my team with the HEART, DETERMINATION & DESIRE that El Toro Freeman has! Thanks for your play the past few years El Toro…Good luck & GOD Bless!

That breaks my heart, seriously. I am glad he could win a NC with us.

Freeman was the heart of our defense this year. Too bad the things hampered his senior year. The guy never quit, always was digging. True Auburn Man...WDE #21

I really hate it for Freeman. He was one of the few bright spots on our defense this season. It seemed like he was the only guy on defense that would actually get off blocks.

S Erique Florence said he's highly optimistic about how Auburn will play next season despite the 42-14 loss to Alabama. "We'll come back and pretty much have the same team on defense and offense," he said. "We'll look for a good season. We'll go into this bowl game and do everything we can to get some momentum."

Anyone that went to the game-how was the atmosphere post game?

Quiet on the Auburn front with the fans that were left. Turds doing what they do best... Being turds.

Fine. They sang updyke jammer, then it was over. Nobody was bad after the game.

During the game, there were four updykes thrown out of our section and one thrown out two sections over.

Then auburn fans almost fought because one lady would not sit down and others wouldn't leave her alone about it.

The two Bammers seated in front of me attempted to video the Rammer Jammer and I yelled as loud as I could over and over "It's great to be an Auburn Tiger" until the trashy song was over! Sorry boys your video was drowned out by me!! WDE!! :)

Riiiight. Kevin Yoxall would have his choice of job at any school in this country if he was given the boot by AU.

I would like to see that video :)

I'm sure I sounded like a crazy hoarse lady, but I didn't care. I wasn't gonna hear that crap in my stadium and I didn't hear them at all! Ha!
