7-4, Top 8th, 2 outs.  After giving up a single to load the bases, C. Jones struck out Morris and Ben Jones.  LSU's ace closer, Ott is now pitching with Fletcher hitting for AU.

Surprise, surprise!! Man, our Tigers just can't get the BIG basehits when they need them.....I thought that Auburn needed atleast one win against LSU to make the SEC Tourney and it doesn't look they are gonna get it....I know it hurts that our leading hitter is out but someone has to step up and start hitting the ball and no one has......sad for these Tigers b/c they have worked their tails off but it looks like they are gonna be outside looking in for the 6th year in a row.

7-6, LSU, Final for the 2nd day in a row...AU swept by LSU...Hargett grounded into double play with 1st and 2nd and 1 out...AU is now 25-19, 8-13...LSU is still overrated. but they have solid pitching and know how to win close games...AU's mental toughness seems to have drifted back to last year's softness...But, without Sanders, AU is even younger.
