T-shirt Sizes

I would love to order an Auburn Eagle t-shirt, however I typically wear an XLT. I am 6' 4'' and 240 lbs (not fat, not ripped, kinda medium I guess). Most times an XL fits just fine except the tail is too short. XXL is usually just a lot wider. I don't necessarily need wider, just longer. Could someone please help me? Would an XL be sufficient or do I need to go XXL? Thanks to anyone that can help. Would really like to order one this week for the special!
