Okay....to my dismay, Gus will probably be here next year. I do not want to become Miss State but we probably need to scour the Juco ranks for some key positions, specifically OL. We need immediate help and I don't see it on our roster. May not hurt to pick up a LB or two as well. Lord knows we have room on our commit list at this point.

It would be nice if a MOD would start a poll to see what everyone's age is and maybe year of graduation(from Auburn). It might help some of us understand the thought process of some posters, including myself. Is that something you guys are willing to do? Maybe at least post demographics of the participant pool maybe. Just a thought. -
How do you figure an extra blocker when the QB just splits out to WR and basically steps out of bounds? Seems to me you lose a blocker. I hate it too but seems everyone is running it these days.

Can someone with higher than Jr High coaching experience please explain to me what advantage a team has running the wildcat, other than setting up a trick play for future opponents. I just don't get it. (cross posted)

Great play unless press man coverage disrupts the receivers at the LOS. Also very subject to a pick six if not properly executed.
