Pre-NIL and pre-portal the way to build a dominant program was to hoard talent by any means necessary. Now that everybody can enrich players above board and players can go elsewhere if they're not getting to play, the game is changing. So there is truth in what RB is saying here; the "old ways" are not going to work much longer.

Nobody “moves on” from that job. You either kill it or your career is over. His career is over. He’ll be receiving his buyout three years from now. 

Why I hate bammer:

1. Vast majority of their fans couldn't find Tuscaloosa on a map, much less have ever been there.
   
2. They think they are better than you because they bought a t-shirt with Marlboro Miles.
   
3. Their campus (and whole city in fact) literally smells like sewage.
   
4. They only beat us when we're down, then have the audacity to call us "Little Brother."
   
5. They have too much bammer in 'em.
   

Bonus reason:

When they're on probation, they schedule games AT Hawaii the week after the Iron Bowl.
