With decent OL and 4-5 star QB CHF will find a RB or 2 to help Cobb out.

I bet he flips to AU if CHF wants him. This is all NIL positioning. We will see if CHF calls his bluff. No way his family would want to travel to PSU for equal or close to equal NIL. This will be interesting to see how this plays out. The kid may end up regretting his commitment to PSU if AU moves on and gets someone else to take his spot. CHF did not sign a RB in the 2024 class for a reason.

I figured he’d commit to PSU. It keeps AU in the loop. He’s pulling a “cam Colman” type deal when he committed to Tam.

He’s a junior; we just hired a new OC/RB coach. I can understand him not wanting to make a commitment - up until now as well as taking OVs to other schools. Heck these kids will only go through this experience 1 time as a 17-18 yo.

Towns came here as a kicker because of our NFL history with kickers. He knows what’s in front of him and will redshirt. We are good at Kicker for the next 5 years!

The only way to regulate this is to make the athletes employees of the university and sign a 1-2 year contract.

It's called Free Agency - every year. Wild Wild West. Its going to take schools to make these athletes employees of the university and sign 1-2 year contracts in order to get this under control. -

I guess the Ryan williams nil deal is too big for him to waver on his commitment. It sounds like they opened up the bank to get him to re-commit.
