I find it a shame that some people you consider friends, and for the most part are, until politics are involved. Since I started voting in 1972, I have considered myself a Republican, even though there are some elected Republicans---well, maybe a LOT---who I wish would drop out of the party and start their own so that I wouldn't have to be considered being part of that crowd (I absolutely cringe every time I see Sarah Palin and/or Michele Bachman on TV).
