Obviously the optics look bad but the guys that are hitting the portal have had very little playing time to this point and thanks to the transfer portal they aren't stuck somewhere they don't want to be like they were in the old days. I hate it for them, for the team and for the fans but it is what it is. Welcome to modern CFB. Master the ever changing rules or get rekt and left behind.

I read somewhere that Rhule was 0-11 against ranked opponents while at Baylor so who knows. He had back to back winning seasons there before he bolted for the NFL. Maybe a little prematurely, idk. -
I'm no expert that's for sure but offenses that get the ball out of the QB's hands quickly like Miss State and Coastal Carolina are designed to compensate for weaker OL's and neutralize a pass rush. Maybe that's out of their wheelhouse, idk.

In hindsight it appears that Hars and Kiesau have installed an offense without considering what kind of offense would work best with the talent we have.
