I don’t doubt he could have a long, successful pro career, but the whole “I believe in Auburn and love it” and “he’s the best QB in the nation” was just laying it on a bit too thick, IMO.
Apologies if you weren’t trolling, but it certainly checked all the boxes.
I don’t think he’s a troll...I do however believe him to be about 8 years old....

I’m gonna sit down Saturday night, grab a burger, grab a drink and watch Auburn with an open mind and take off my Anti-Gus glasses and just see what he can do with all of the problems and angst on offense. If we look like we improve I will be fair to him. 20 points is probably enough to win this game and that shouldn’t be unreasonable to attain.

Can someone give me a quick update overall today for us? I’m in a sales meeting and only have a couple minutes I can use my phone here....

I'm curious about the LSU not being very well coached comment. I get the HC is ultimately responsible for his team, but have you seen anything from Aranda or Canada to doubt their abilities? Both seemed to be pretty well regarded prior to arriving at LSU.
Thanks as always for the recap.Yeah I thought they were too. Wasn't it Canada's offense that beat Clemson last year?

I agree with everything Stat said. Despite my being firmly in the skeptical of Gus crowd I am not and have not been critical of the 2nd half performance. When the game mattered and was in doubt we won 35-3. Most teams take their foot off a little with a big lead plus a natural letdown from the players. I am critical of Gus's overall record at AU but there is no doubt this team has improved. A road at LSU is tough no matter how good or bad LSU is perceived to be. Bottom line is LSU has a ton of talent and is capable if we don't play well. I would much rather folks be moaning about a poor second half performance in a blowout win than moaning about a close loss.

Good grief I realize I've made myself a target of the Gus Love Committee with some of my remarks but my remark about dreading hearing about injuries or suspensions right before a game had ZERO to do with Gus. I could care less what he tells us or the media. I was just making a general remark based on how it seems we have had someone out right before every game. It was not a Gus bash in anyway and I have never bet on a game in my life so hiding injuries doesn't bother me at all.

Does Gus or any coach owe you a report of that nature prior to any game? Quit fooling the bookies young man......................

Anyone else at the point where you just hold your breath right before every game to see who is injured or suspended?

II'm certainly no optimist when it comes to Gus but I really thought I saw more positive signs offensively than what most are saying. There were some shorter pass routes like the quick slant Davis scored on and some more intermediate ones also. Yes there were definitely some of the same ol predictable situations like the wildcat call that everyone knew what was coming but I wouldn't expect them to open up the playbook against gsu. For me, the upcoming game will tell a lot. If we get the same predictable playcalling against a quality opponent that costs us a chance at a win then the writing is on the wall for our season. But if we see a different offense with potential then even in a loss I will be encouraged for the rest of our schedule.

Seems to me that its mostly offense that is down in the SEC. Several teams struggled at one time or another offensively and with QB play. It goes through cycles. The SEC couldn't be dominate every single year. Sooner or later the other conferences had to catch up some. That being said more than likely the national champ will come from the SEC once again.

I have seen a few folks here and on Twitter implying this isn't a done deal. Is there still some doubt he signs with AU? I was thinking he may still jump somewhere if KB gets hired at some other school.

Big big get for our Tigers. Now, no more excuses. Improved defense, home schedule against uat and uga, and now we have a QB.

Coach, only from memory and antectodal evidence, I cannot remember a lot of very successful conversions of WR’s to DB’s at this level. Would you consider Noah’s transition a really good success?
