This is turning into a disaster from Cohen.  The fact he stalled on Kiffin tells me he has no idea on reality.  

There seems to be a vibe he has been #1 the whole time. 

Fickle or Lane would be home runs. Franklin at the right price would be good. Deion/Grimes/Freeze are jokes and would say we/Cohen are clueless. 

James Franklin is the guy competing with Lane.

Look, this isn't unheard of. Bruce Pearl had his name leaked for the Louisville job and he turned that into more money for himself and his assistants. He even said that his assistants getting a raise was important to him.  Pearl being the same coach that will have a building named after him at some point at Auburn. The same coach that says Auburn is the best place and he wants to retire from Auburn some day. 

Dabos buyout is 6MM if he leaves.  It is only remaining contract if he is fired

I am reading it differently. "Dabo is now the front runner.  Lane is interested if we do not lock down Dabo." 

Is OP legit? I don't want Dabo and this rustles me.

I know. I am giving two data points that say we are offering close to 12 MM/year and OM won't match. The only difference is years.

10 years right at 12MM for Lane. OM side is claiming 7 years 78 MM. OM guys are claiming they won't match.

PSU has the Joe Jr issue. I could see Franklin wanting to bounce.  For those not familiar. Joe Jr 100% thought he was getting the HC job. It went to Franklin. Joe Jr somehow weasel'd his way to their BoT. He is a complete physico.   

A random poster on reddit claims Lane agreed to a 7 year $77 million and will be announced on 11/28. Good enough for me to believe. 

As much crap as we gave them, they are doing well with the little talent we have.  Lane probably won't keep either, but I just appreciate their effort.

Just call it Auburn arena or the Auburn Football Complex or name it after Pat Dye or Pat Sullivan. 

Are you DA's complaining about our donors? If it makes you so mad, make a few million and give it to our program.  Naming it after the major donor promotes giving. 

I don't understand where the interest in Dan Lanning is coming from. He looked absolutely lost vs the only talented team he played this year. He won't have the Cal's at AU to pad his stats.  We aren't in a spot to allow someone to learn on the job. 

Hopefully we get Freeze and all of you claiming to be done will stop posting.  We need to purge the board of dumb takes. I highly doubt it though.  Just remember you cannot enjoy the upcoming National Championship.
