There is no doubt DeBoer can coach but not sure if anyone has seen Washingtons recruiting classes the past three years. 2022 - rivals class ranking of 89 2023 - rivals class ranking of 24 2024 - rivals class ranking of 46 It's widely known if you can't recruit in the SEC you virtually have no chance in this conference. Don't believe me go ask our last coach....

UF played with no intensity in this game until the 4th quarter. Napier didn’t even look to be inspiring his players whatsoever. He can recruit I’ll give him that but recruiting and coaching are two different things. He should have stayed at UL.

I admit I wasn't completely thrilled when Freeze was hired. I felt it was a solid hire but not a homerun. Not because of his background because I believe we all make mistakes and we all deserve second chances. So far though he has impressed me. He came in and hit the ground running on all cylinders. He has assembled a great staff behind him in a relative short amount of time. One that can recruit and actually coach. The most impressive thing about him to me so far is his recruiting ability. In his first week or so he met with most of the football coaches in Alabama if I am not mistaken. That is huge deal in building those relationships! The amount of recruits he has brought in and flipped, especially OL, deserves high praise. I will remain optimistic about this upcoming season but I realize we have some growing to do in turn I won't keep my expectations too high. Coach Freeze deserves our backing in the amount of work he has done in such a short amount of time. I hope he continues to excel in his craft while being at the helm of our football program. WDE!

One thing I do love about these two coordinator positions they both have strong Texas ties., especially Montgomery. Could lead to opening up some of those fertile Texas recruiting fields. I for one am a little optimistic about next season but trying to stay grounded from all the Auburn PTSD I have suffered over the last couple of years.

Scuttlebutt is Bryce Young and Will Anderson will be opting out of the game. They better not sleep walk through this game or it will make Saban look bad after his little tantrum petitioning for his team being in the CFP.

Well if we do get Kiffin and he does leave for a different team it will represent a first for us. A coach will actually owe us for a buyout instead of us paying a ton to get rid of one.
