I got to know Frank personally over the last 5 years and can honestly say he was a good man. He genuinely cared for each person he coached and knew. I'll miss him for sure, but if I could change the title of this thread a bit I'd have to change it to "Frank Orgel, former Auburn defensive coordinator, passes away after giving ALS hell for 20 years". 

Not only did he live for 20 years after the diagnosis (which is a crazy long time), but he never let it beat him, change who he was, or change how he treated others. Coach was a tough dude.

Yes officiating has been uneven, but it's the effect of that early flagrant 2. We're not going to get many calls when you have a player throwing an elbow 2 minutes in to the game.

To make it even more embarrassing, they scored 14 points total in the first half. It's the first time I've ever seen a scoring draught so long that the production said "9:58 EST last UVA basket". It was 10:52 EST when they showed that 🤣

He said everything you say when defending some picks, and totally dumped quad wins and losses and different ratings when they didn't fit the narrative. As this show was out of NYC, it was mainly about the Big East compared to the Mountain West. He was squirming quite a bit then but used different ratings to justify the MW getting six teams in when the BE got 3. But he made no sense at all when explaining leaving Indiana State out. I'm not sure if you're talking about the Chris Russo interview or not, but the inconsistent reasoning is my complaint. Don't say Illinois and Iowa State moved up a line after winning their conference tournament and then stumble your way through an excuse when asked why it didn't matter for Auburn. Then he gave the excuse of Auburn being the only one to beat a lower seed for the tournament championship. He got called out about Wisconsin being a lower seed than Illinois and went quiet again. He also had no answer when asked why neutral site games (no NCAA tournament game is a true home or true road game) aren't weighed heavily. If you're not going to weigh things equally for all teams and ignore criteria that should matter, just don't go on live national radio shows and try to make excuses for it. 

I give up. I'm done on here for the game because I'm getting to negative. Yall have a great game! I hope we pull through. Florida will be in the double bonus with 17 minutes left at this rate.

If they'll call the off arm Florida will foul out with 15 minutes left. The push offs are insane right now

My thoughts exactly. That would be handing Alabama a sweet 16 run without a challenge. 

The new bracket projections came out at like 2am this morning and, if they actually played out the way Lunardi has them, Auburn's bracket would be a nightmare. He had us on the 3 line with UConn as our 1, Iowa State on the 2, Duke as the 4, Florida as the 5, and Mississippi St as the 9. 🤢

You keep using quotation marks around the word scrubs but I never said the word scrubs. I said scout team. One is disrespectful. One is useful to game prep.

They quite literally run the scout team side of practice. That's like saying a freshman quarterback on scout team that'll start in 2 years is being disrespected by being an important part of game prep.

worst possible timing for this game. We are due for a big emotional letdown Saturday. We needed a “gimme game” after the maaaaaj bama home win. In a perfect world this would have been one of the vandy games or the mizzou game. Not trying to break the O dome curse. I unfortunately think we play our worst game of the season there Saturday and get beat by double digits. They didn’t have a mid week game so they have been able to prepare for us all week.

Florida on the road gives me pause. Florida without Castleton getting the most absurd calls all game seems promising.

I'm gonna need some of those people from 2 weeks ago talking about some "Bruce is Oates' lap dog" to come on back in this one.
