Mark Jennings is a nut that posts tweets in all caps lock and it makes me cringe. He claims his recruiting formula is so good that Rivals Mike and others are ripping off of him.

Yep. He spends a lot of time calling out all the subscription sites for writing false stories for clicks and also using his info. Goes a little overboard IMO and comes off as arrogant to me. But maybe his formula is correct and he has a right to be? :dunno: I listen to it more when I'm bored FWIW.

Watch out for Malik Willis. This kid is going to be a stud if Lindsey is the QB developer that everyone says he is. Malik's upside is out of this world.

This is what I don't understand about rankings. I've read rankings are based on draftability. If upside is out this world(a few ppl have said the same) why wouldn't that reflect in the rankings? Is it basically just one guy each for ESPN, rivals, and 247 and that guy doesn't agree?

I would expect to see McLemore lose minutes, and we would see Auburn mix big and small lineups.   Also, for the Purifoy discussion, he is getting a good bit of open looks at the three point stripe, because the man guarding him is a mismatch and they close out on him too slow. I wouldn't assume his offensive production will go up due to moving him to the 3 spot. It would create a different type of mismatch, and we haven't seen much DP's midrange or interior game yet, so it is a bit of an unknown.

Completely agree. Luol Deng popped off when Heat moved him from the 3 to the 4. Similar offensive games IMO.

My thing will be - does the offense slow down with 2 bigs in the game - Wiley, Spencer, and Smith? Think Bruce wants to run and two bigs alters that. I really can't wait to see EJ Montgomery. Perfect 4 man for this offense.

it does not indicate a lack of confidence. It's an indicator of high omfort level with the coaches he already is working with and has a relationship with.

Also remember that plans are for KB to be the Auburn OC next year. That plan may change but I haven't heard of it yet.

Think I remember someone saying it was a high % that Rhett would either downgrade schools if offense performed poorly or take a small HC job if we did well. Sounded like odds were that he would leave regardless. But that may have just been pessimistic thinking during the first 3 weeks of the season.
