Set an attendance record for the 1980 Tennessee game and were soundly beaten 42-0.  Barfield’s last year. Had tons of talent in that backfield.

I remember my first year at Auburn and the T-shirts that labeled the first upper deck addition of Jordan-Hare as “The House that Brooks Built”. 

You’re always one play away from finishing the season with whoever is 2nd in line.  If Sandberg ends up remotely looking like the 2nd man, you get him as many touches as you can as early as you can.

Greg Gantt was held out of the '73 Cotton Bowl for his contributions to the Iron Bowl. 

Anybody remember Dennis Collier on kick-off coverage?  Brought a lot of enthusiasm and hustle during a time when there wasn't a lot to get excited about. 

Are you serious?  Nothing points to anything going on other than a dynamic coaching staff pumping life into the program.  We don't have to worry about others starting rumors. We do that in-house.
