  1. I mean google isn’t that hard to use. This is incorrect. September 1: 56-10 win over South Carolina State.
  2. I still have nightmares over Karstin Bailey dropping passes
  3. For me the answer at QB is simple. Jarrett Stidham probably had the best “NFL arm” that I’ve seen at Auburn my entire life and that includes Campbell. Had Stidham played in this offense the way he is viewed by Auburn fans would be VERY different. WR… that is a little harder… it would be the sole 1,000 yard WR we have had in my lifetime (Ronny Daniels,) the next closest we have gotten to 1,000 yards (Darvin Adam’s,) or who probably would of been a 1,000 yard WR had he not been a knucklehead (Duke Williams.) and I would of course be just wrong not at least name dropping my favorite Auburn WR of all time… Courtney Taylor.
  4. To be fair he coached the Iron for days. Maybe weeks. Certainly no where near a year. Edit* 3 months. Just looked it up. Hired by the iron in October 2018. Hired by Auburn January 2019. And just because he played for us doesnt mean everyone was behind the hire or him being retained.
  5. Wow this is getting to Ole Miss levels with UT now. Fulmer doesn't seem to care about possible repercussions... Let them pull this with one of Bamas commits. Something tells me the REC would relish the possibility to pay Fat Phil back. Mark your calender folks. Its just a matter of time... Either the REC will put Tennessee back to the stone ages or the NCAA is just gonna stop policing these types of things because Tennessee is going full Will Wade in football recruiting.
  6. How many high school aged kids do you see wear Nike or Air Jordans? How many do you see wear UA shoes? Then go to a basketball game or court...look at their shoes. 8 out of 10 will be wearing Nike shoes. The majority of those kids who have played basketball for 18 years and have ALWAYS worn Nike or Jordan shoes. When they get to Auburn they can no longer wear Nike or Jordans because to play basketball at Auburn they HAVE to wear UA shoes. Yes Bruce has us recruiting at a level higher than any in program history BUT to pretend like it wouldnt help is naive. To pretend that the shoes they play basketball in does not matter is flat out WRONG. Brands matter to these kids...much more than they did when i went to school in the 90s... Suggesting otherwise just says you dont know much about todays youth.
  7. O.K... Original artical says 4.6 out of 10. https://n.rivals.com/news/transfer-tracker-akron-ol-brandon-council-to-graduate-transfer So that drops him from: (6.9-9.0) A high impact player who won’t change a program but will certainly be a very good contributor and starter. To: (4.1 to 6.0) A solid impact can be expected in the right scenario and has the potential to battle for a starting job. Which is closer to: (1.1-4.0) Not a big impact expected, likely a non-starter and down the bench depth player I mean I get it that everyone thinks that anyone who comes to Auburn is the bees-knees. Especially on this site... But we are talking about a guy who was projected as preseason fourth-team All-MAC by Athlon Sports... Maybe he can hold his own and will surprise me like Driscoll but I wont hold my breath. Im not a sunshine pumper like a some of you on here. But nothing would make me happier than to be wrong about this young man.
  8. Mollys Game is awesome 21 is a movie about cards. Rounders is another good card movie.
  9. Now I have seen him listed on other websites as 6'0. There isnt a lot of difference between 6'0 and 6'2 but that 2 inches can absolutely be the difference between a 4th and 5th star. If this young man is actually 6'0 and not 6'2 I doubt he would get that 5th star. Not that it matters a hill of beans...
  10. Scouts looking at him or not, his offer sheet, if correct, sure seems enough to warrant a 4* rating. If those offers are correct, this young man may end up being our first 5* DB that we have ever signed. That would be something but his offer sheet with his size... I just dont see how he doesnt end up being a very high 4* or even a 5*. If I'm not mistaken Shon Coleman was a 3* when he committed and ended up as a 5*...
  11. And that one person didnt say he "lost it" he said that he had "slowed down" or something similar. He has corrected you on this... But you already knew that... That's some "18" stuff right there...
  12. Ok... So this guy is listed as a SDE but I saw earlier E say that he is more of a pass rusher than the strong side DE that Davidson was... Would that not make him a buck in our system? Also arent "Bucks" usually WDE? So he plays strong side DE in JUCO but will he be a buck or a SDE for us? I'm just confused as to how we are actually looking at using this young man? E says he is a pass rusher and specifically stated he wasnt a replacement for Davidson but he plays Davidsons position? Color me confused
  13. And for every Noah or Prince, there are 2 Devan Barretts or Tristin Davis'. It isnt something we should plan on having success with. Noah starting immediately after making that move from WR was one of the most surprising things of the Malzahn era. That isnt something that normally works out period, much less as advantageous as Iggys move.
